I'm back from the IJCL. I have mixed feelings.

It's wonderful to not have to memorize anything, design anything, worry about tests, etc, but I didn't do as well as I'd hoped.

I had a very good time there, and I'm starting to miss it already. Not just in the respect that it was fun, but in the respect of how many people knew who I was there. Between narrating the skit, doing Roll Call, kicking off Karaoke (with U Can't Touch This, nonetheless - a proud moment) and hanging around with Michael's friends, by some twist of fate I became one of the most recognizable people at convention (along with Michael, who also won in his race for IJCL president).

It was nice to be involved and constantly seen so that people would walk up to you and just talk about you.

Also, for some reason, girls kept hitting on me. This puzzles me. One of said girls is now IJCL secretary.
