I woke up at almost eleven today. Correction, almost twelve. I endured, once again, my brother and his friend on the GameCube and my dad telling me to get up. I swear, I just want ten hours of sleep. It's not that much to ask. By the end of the summer, I'll have my own room.

I hope.

Our addition has been up in the air for about two or three months now. Things will be reorganized, I swear. I'm tired of waking up in the morning to the sounds of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, the game with entirely too many names.

So I stumbled downstairs with my clothes and everything that goes in my pockets hoping to get in the shower. No, dad says. No, Patrick is in there and Andrew has it next.

Failure.

I end up putting off that shower for about 2 hours as I sit here reading strategy guides about SimCity 4, which I have decided to play again out of guilt.

This is strange, because before I felt guilty for not playing TSO, because I was paying for it. But now I play SC4 to recapture old times; specifically when I could entertain myself for months with one game. SimCity. I'm trying to recapture that. I don't want to be a gamer who just needs everything. Ah, SimCity, SimCity.

When I was actually in the shower, I decided that it would be pretty funny if someone put the lyrics to Everybody Have Fun Tonight to the tune of Black Hole Sun. It could work.

So I've been sitting here playing SimCity 4 for about 2 hours now. It's kinda weird, that I've only been up for 4 hours at this point and will only be up for another 7 (Normally, I'm up for 17 hours a day, not 11). It's tough. I suppose my 16 hour day had something to do with it, along with daylight savings time and reclaiming sleep from projects. Still, I need more hours in the day.

Actually, I took some time to look at college websites. Places I could visit during break. Purdue, Indiana (Bloomington), Rose-Hulman and Miami of Ohio. Those aren't the schools I would think of right off the bat. I'm investigating Rose-Hulman and Indiana (Bloomington) especially, because the former is a Tech school and the latter is very proud of their CS department. Also, I want to see IIT, UIUC, and Northwestern. And I will, the first two because we could probably hit them on a long weekend, and the last during a summer program.

I have an english paper I ought to be working on.

I really hate english.

Especially Macbeth.

G'night.
