10:43 p.m.
April 30, 2003
I found out something.
You've heard that I don't sleep well.
It's not about APUS or Volleyball or Latin anymore.
It's me.
It's me, because I can't make myself fall asleep. I'm still up at 10:43 because I look at my bed and I don't feel asleep. I'm so tired but that's not how I go to sleep. I go to sleep at midnight. Maybe after.
I didn't have homework tonight, and yet I'm stretching my evening. I'll pay for it tomorrow morning, I'm sure, but I can't get to sleep. I can't get myself away. In the past, it's been because of Nejjy. But she's not on as much. Or maybe I'm not. Who knows. I do know that I stay up to talk to friends, even if none are online.
I'm looking for some validation in other people. I just need to talk to someone most days of the week. It's late at night and I need to talk to someone. Because I'm out wherever I am and my friends are DnDing or at school or working or whatever.
So I stay up late. I catch up. I pay for it, but I'm still up.
I just paused winamp. Time to work.
