It's really a novel feeling to me. To have everything in the world that should be making things wrong, and to be ecstatic on a Wednesday Morning/Tuesday Night. Program is over, tomorrow promises to be, Thursday is more of the same, and the weekend is for relaxation.
You know, I think that Saddam has nothing on my Biological Terror. I was sick since Saturday, and now that I'm getting better, Andrew (Brother), Deana, and Carl are all getting sick. That's hilarious (Not that they're sick - that's bad, because there will be negative auras - rather, the irony is hilarious. Okay, maybe it's not the irony. It's more of the fantastic coincidence... I don't know. I just think that the fact that I was sick and then suddenly three other people that I know really well get sick... shut up, it makes sense in my mind. No harm meant.)
I'm totally lying in my bed forever tomorrow. Forever until I have to go to traffic.
SimCity 4 is taking over my life again. I just love creating these little towns and making them grow... I'm making this town scrape the sky. I'm starting in and growing out, and then going back in to grow up. I'm taking risks to come out the better. You know what? I'm having a fucking blast on a videogame. It's been a long time.
I AM SO HAPPY
MarkoDePollo: You remember those commercials from way back in the day about reading? They went: "BOOKS! You check em ouuuuut! BOOKS! You check em ouuuuut!". Those were funny.
VoiceInTheThrong: *L* So old.
VoiceInTheThrong: I haven't seen one of those in ages.
MarkoDePollo: i was thinking about those.
MarkoDePollo: Those were the California Raisins, right?
VoiceInTheThrong: Yup.
MarkoDePollo: It's like an uncool food telling you to do an uncool thing.
MarkoDePollo: "Dude, this reading sucks! Let's go watch Reboot and play POGs! And screw these raisins, I've got some of the New Coke at home!"
VoiceInTheThrong: *L*
VoiceInTheThrong: Heh!
MarkoDePollo: "I dunno, man, your dad might be watching ALF again."
MarkoDePollo: Oh, man, early 90s TV.
MarkoDePollo: It's all about Ghostwriter and David the Gnome, and that guy who crawled through the log.
VoiceInTheThrong: Whoa, whoa. Nostalgia wave.
VoiceInTheThrong: Where are you getting all this?
VoiceInTheThrong: David the Gnome was awesome.
MarkoDePollo: It's whatever I can remember.
VoiceInTheThrong: Very few people your age remember all that.
VoiceInTheThrong: The thing is, I watched more television than the average kid, I think, and also, I just have more intimate memories of the mid to late eighties, and early nineties.
MarkoDePollo: Did you ever get up at like, 4AM to watch Mr. Wizard's World?
VoiceInTheThrong: Yup.
VoiceInTheThrong: Though it was on at six, on Nickelodeon.
MarkoDePollo: 4, 6, whatever.
MarkoDePollo: It was hella early for someone my age.
VoiceInTheThrong: Yeah.
VoiceInTheThrong: Alright, I'm getting off so someone else can use it.
MarkoDePollo: Hey Dude.
VoiceInTheThrong: I'll talk to ya tomorrow.
VoiceInTheThrong: Ugh.
VoiceInTheThrong: That show was so bad.
MarkoDePollo: I only remember one episode
VoiceInTheThrong: Salute your shorts was ten times better.
MarkoDePollo: It was.
