Today I...
Woke up at 12 (see previous entry) and showered. My mom left with my brother, so I was home alone most of the day. I played NOLF2 until it was beaten. This is the greatest game of all time. So my list, as it stands.
1. No One Lives Forever 2
2. SimCity 4
3. Fallout
4. Grim Fandango
5. Monkey Island series
6. Civilization 3
7. Age of Kings
8. Red Alert 2
9. The Sims (Honestly? I hate the first game. I hate the expansions. I hate TSO. But I did love them, and I will love The Sims 2, at least briefly).
So. After that, I meandered in the online sense. I talked. I organized practice, I got dragged to a couple concerts (well, I will be), I started posting on forums. I tried to go get a guitar string fixed and ate good meals. I drew a little more. And you know what? I'm very happy, slightly disconcerted, and I feel like right now, to complete my life as it stands, I need something rewarding.
(update: as of 3:03 AM, i just made up with jen, who was mad at me and i was mad at her. so that was rewarding. something's still missing, but that something is smaller).
Things are good right now. Something's missing, but things are good. And that's the way it should be.
