Monday: Sleep is sparse, but the effects of a lack aren't felt, because sleep from the previous night - usually 11 or 12 hours, and a short day - are carried over.

Tuesday: Sleep is sparse, and you feel it for the first thirty minutes of consciousness. Symptoms include ignoring your alarm clock in favor of five more minutes and tendencies to pause when standing or sitting.

Wednesday: Sleep is sparse, and you feel it for about the first hour. It's tough to get you out of bed and when you do get out, you're very dizzy. You find yourself sitting on the toilet for a long time doing nothing because you like to sit.

Thursday: Sleep is sparse, and it's really starting to get to you. You might be a bit lethargic all day.

Friday: It gets bad. You're straight up tired, and caffeine can only help to warp your sense of alertness and tiredness. You don't get a major wind until you're lying in bed going to sleep.

Saturday: Sleep until 11

Sunday: Sleep until 12:30
