You've changed.
You know, for the longest time, you teetered on the brink, and the people around you who you looked upon with a bit of condescension were the only ones keeping you from being a total loss. Now, you're into the swing of things. Suddenly, it's status for you. You crave it. It's anything you can get your paws onto.
You seem so enamored with the idea that you're finally out of high school that you take a sort of active pride whenever you're "experiencing" something. You actively recognize when you've done something that makes you an "adult", and you just bask in it.
You might be living, but you're so enamored with the idea that I've become disenchanted. I'm not sure I'd care to speak with you any further, because you're so far out of the atmosphere.
